Nederland Entry Level Chainsaw Safety Class

Ready to become a Saws and Slaws sawyer? All you need is to take this Chainsaw Safety Class and you’re in! Even if you have some experience with chainsaw cutting, it is our biggest goal to be as safe as possible at all of our events so we ask that anyone wanting to be a sawyer first take this class. If you have already taken this class and have attended at least 4 S&S events as a sawyer, you may be ready for the Intermediate Class (see calendar). Friday is a 4 hour evening class and Saturday is a 6 hour field class. Friday evening class will begin at 6 pm at the Nederland Firehouse. Saturday’s field work location will be given then.
