Coal Creek Canyon Fire Department Benefit Event

Every once in a while you will hear of a community member who sees a problem and steps up and does something about it. Props to Zennia for coordinating a fund raising event for Coal Creek’s local Fire Department.

“I became concerned at our lack of snow this winter and thought about last summer’s fire(s).  I was at Disney Land with my family and got a call that there were a bunch of fires in our mountains.  When my uncle asked me what he should grab of mine should the fires come closer I panicked.  It was not so much my “stuff” but the idea that a whole community could be wiped out.  It was this though that stayed with me and inspired the idea behind putting on a benefit for the fire department in our canyon.  I figured it would be something that potentially could affect us all and something that the whole community could get behind and support.” – Zennia
