Coal Creek Saws & Slaws

Come join us as we help our neighbors on Hilltop Rd create a heather forest and defensible space along a shared corridor between their homes. We will be cleaning out an established aspen stand so that more and healthier aspens will be encouraged to grow. Our goal is to take out dead and beetle infested trees for fire wood while the bigger trees will be milled and used for Dave Pence’s future cabin. As always there will be a great pot-luck meal to follow.
You will also need to bring eye and ear protection, work gloves, long sleeve shirts, work boots, water, snacks and a helmet if you have one.
