Join us this Saturday as we help our neighbors on Dowdle Drive make their homes more defensible in the event of a fire. We will work for 4 hours and then celebrate with a wonderful potluck lunch!

Please join us on Saturday, July 8, 2017 8AM - 1 PM for a fun filled Saws & Slaws Event! Happy July!! We'll be helping our neighbors on Twin Spruce Rd. get rid of excess forest fuels by chipping on site. We'll need many hands to feed the chipper. Please note: There will be 2 time slots to choose from ("Team 1" and "Team 2") so no one gets tired. No Sawyers, no Swampers, just Chipper Feeders. Everyone is invited to the Potluck at noon at Jane's House, 11143 Twin Spruce. We will plan to meet with Team 1 at 8:00 AM sharp, at 11143 Twin Spruce Rd., Golden, CO 80403 (Jane and Mike Marsolek's house) for sign in and safety briefing. Team 2 will also meet at 11143, at 9:45 for a Safety Meeting, and then we'll go find the chipper! Please bring gloves, water, sun protection, ear & eye protection (if you have it) and a dish to share! After we finish our work, we will celebrate our accomplishments with a potluck meal to be held at noon at 11143 Twin Spruce Rd, Golden, CO 80403 . This is truly a time to get to relax, have fun, and get to know your neighbors a bit better. Please bring camp chairs (we mean it this time!) and reusable plates/utensils to help our environment even more! ***Please drop your potluck dishes at 11143 Twin Spruce when you arrive for your safety meeting. We'll be helping our neighbors on Hilltop Rd.this August! Please use the Sign Up button below to sign up. We will be cutting and chipping, and we will need a couple of ATV's to drag slash and logs. We will have the Safety meeting and the potluck at 31600 Hilltop, or the home of Team Steffe. ***Please drop your potluck dishes at 31600 Hilltop when you arrive for your safety meeting. The Saws & Slaws Board of Director's will be meeting on Saturday, December 9, from 1-3. This meeting is open to the public. If you're interested in attending and/or interested in a board or operations position, please email sawsandslaws@gmail.com or call Peggy at 303-503-7943.

Saws & Slaws Board of Directors Meetings are open to the public. This is the first Board meeting of 2018. We will be approving operational budgets and pricing structure for 2018. Please let us know if you're interested in attending by emailing us at sawsandslaws@gmail.com and we will send you the meeting location address. This will help us to have enough chairs, food, and room. If we have an abundance of people desiring to come to this meeting, we may move it to a location with more room.

Saws & Slaws Operations Meetings are open to the public. This meeting is the second meeting in 2018. The agenda will be around preparation for the 2018 season, updates & direction from the Board meeting, operation lead reporting.
