Saws & Slaws to present at the BoCo Strong Quarterly Meeting, at the training room of the Boulder County Sheriff's office.

RESCHEDULED -- Whether you've been cutting for years or just found yourself on the business end of a chainsaw, you'll benefit from this chainsaw safety class! Day 1 includes: Education class & saw maintenance. Day 2 includes: Field training This class is REQUIRED if you are interested in becoming a sawyer at a Saws & Slaws event. This event will give all of our sawyers the opportunity to operate their saws in a controlled environment, interact with an experienced sawyer, and go over basic saw safety concepts before jumping into a full-blown event with swampers and other volunteers moving through your cutting area. Our first event will be on Saturday May 28th in the St Anton Highlands subdivision from 8am-12pm with a potluck to follow.   We need at least 8 sawyers for this event (S&S trained or S212 certified).  Please save the date and let me know if you plan to attend.  I'll send more info and an official invite a little later.
