Gilpin Neighborhood Fire Mitigation at Morning Star Circle

Saws and Slaws will be having their first Gilpin County project on Saturday, September 13th. The four home owners are super excited to host this next event and have been working hard at preparing their sites. There is a variety from flats sites to not so flat sites for you to chose from depending on how much of a workout you want. There will be plenty to do, all skill levels welcomed. A fantastic BBQ lunch and potluck will be served afterwards. And don’t forget to bring your lawn chair.
Just a reminder, make sure you wear appropriate clothing such as long sleeve shirt, long pants, sturdy shoes, gloves, eyes an ear protection, and hardhat. We will provide ice water so bring your water container and stay hydrated.
The safety briefing will start at 7:45 at Carol Cardon’s home located at 572 Morning Star Circle. Please come early because parking may be a challenge. We will have designated parking volunteers helping you find parking.
The potluck lunch will be at Julie Ikler’s home located at 805 Mountain Meadows Drive. Refrigerator space is limited so bring a cooler if you have a cold dish.
