In this class you will learn many things like; -how to safely start, cut with, and maintain your saw -how to properly read the lean of a tree and drop it safely -how to work properly with a large group of other volunteers Hope you can join us. Nederland Chainsaw Safety Refresher Event _ DELAYED to Saturday May 17th
Hello Folks, The water treatment plant still has too much snow to allow us to safely hold a Saws and Slaws event this Sunday. We are rescheduling this “sawyers only” event to take place on Saturday May17th. It will still be held at the Nederland water treatment plant. Hello wonderful volunteers. We have a great project planed in June. This site will mostly be a lodge pole thinning project involving 5 homes. Please click on this site map for reference. It is that time of year again. Coal Creek Canyon is partnering up with Jefferson County in helping reduce the slash in the canyon. Residence are encouraged to drop off unwanted slash at Fire Station #2 only during this weekend. There is a small fee involved. More details soon to come.
